Our client, a leading spatial design platform known as ShapesXR, is currently seeking an experienced B2B SaaS Marketing Director to join their team. The company specializes in empowering users to create and collaborate on XR apps, games, and experiences within a headset environment. ShapesXR's software enables real-time design and prototyping of 3D experiences, integrating seamlessly with tools like Figma and Unity to cater to teams of varying sizes, from startups to large enterprises. 


With the recent closure of an $8.6 Million Seed Round, ShapesXR has garnered significant attention within the XR community, earning recognition as a "Figma for 3D and immersive" platform. Since its launch on the Meta Quest store, ShapesXR has gained traction among diverse XR teams, including indie game developers, VR/AR studios, and Fortune 500 companies.

In this role, our client seeks a Marketing Director specializing in B2B SaaS, with a primary focus on lead generation for the sales team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising and executing strategies to attract Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) leads that convert into customers. They will play a pivotal role in driving growth across both the free and paid user bases, while also cultivating impactful case studies and marketing collaborations with clients.


Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Develop growth strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining customers.
  • Test and optimize marketing tactics for customer acquisition (e.g., online advertising, email campaigns, affiliate marketing, etc.) and conversion rate optimization.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize strategies.
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies in achieving their defined objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to leverage brand, increase customer base, and improve customer experience.
Content and Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the creation of marketing content tailored to different stages of the customer journey.
  • Manage and optimize lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Budget Management:
  • Plan and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels. Closely monitoring ROI.
Market Research:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Previous work with product-led-growth and/or freemium strategies
  • Best-practice knowledge of SEO, Website, Social Media, Blog, Google Ads, and Hubspot.
  • Proven track record owning the entire marketing function to drive company goal attainment
  • Best-practice knowledge of SEO, Website, Social Media, Blog, Google Ads, and Hubspot.
  • Experience with XR software and/or design software (nice to have)
